What began as a professional working relationship soon grew into a close friendship, built around a shared passion for health and wellness. Sport, fitness and diet became regular topics of conversation - but we always came back to the same conclusion: the supplements we were taking weren't giving us what we needed. Whether it was more energy to get through the day, a good night's rest, or better recovery after exercise, something always felt missing.
Around the same time, we were becoming more conscious of our everyday choices around health. A trip to the coast of France, where we visited traditional sea salt farms, inspired us to start Mystic Nature, a small natural foods brand and our first venture together.
Still, supplements were the area we kept coming back to. We weren't experts - just customers who assumed better meant more expensive. That changed as we travelled, spoke to people inside the industry and attended exhibitions across different continents.
What we discovered changed the way we looked at supplements altogether. The opportunity wasn't to reinvent the category, but to take everything we had learned and create the products we had been searching for ourselves.
